I have a gateway laptop and I'm having a couple of problems. I've been having problems turning on my laptop. I used to be able to push the power button and the laptop would boot automatically but now I have to press the power button for about a minute before it turns on. Once it is finally on and i try to open up my internet browser i get a "server busy" message and it delays my internet window from opening. I get this message every time I boot my laptop and it is really, really annoying.

EDIT: Please do not post hijackthis logs in this forum unless asked by a staffer, and then only attach them. Hijackthis logs belong in the Malware forum, not the OS forums.

You do have one malware infection and that should be cleaned up by going to the malware forum and following instructions there.

You are also using Windows XP service pack 1 and should update to service pack 2

If, after getting cleared by malware staffers you still have a problem, please return to this thread and post again
