6.5 Catalyst Control Center successfully installed.

Problem still persists (as seen in the link provided above)

and Im constantly needing to use chkdsk /f /r because the comp continues to show freezing, but if i use chkdsk it goes away again.

How long between running check disc and it becoming a problem again

Ask ATI if they have anything about this, the only other thing is to do a repair install, but it is a lot of unnecessary work if it is the card / drivers / settings

Sapphire tech is useless. Ive been waiting for decent help for too long.

edit: The problem re-occuring could be my brother constantly installing things like shockwave games. Disk check will always fix it though.

Are you using their drivers

Would you like a programme which will run chkdsk then shut the PC down, so you can run it overnight, then at least the PC is good to go in the morning

Yes im using Sapphire tech's drivers. They are a branch of ATI..

And umm this program sounds interesting. But i still need a fix for the card.
