Dissapearing names!

My friend's computer lost the name tags for the 2 indicated display modes, but only in the my pictures folder. Resetting the folder views doesnt work, so I'm pretty much stomped, its the first problem of this kind i've encountered. Suggestions needed. Thanks.

and they are there in detail, list and icon mode?

Yep, all other modes work properly, in every other folder, including the ones at fault in the my pictures folder...

To be totally clear, its ONLY in this folder that the modes THUMBNAIL and FILMSTRIP dont have names.

Change it to detail view, then HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY and change it back to thumbnail or filmstrip view

(hmmm, that is a neat little quirky issue)
