I'm having a couple of different problems:

1. When trying to connect to hotmail, I go to msn.com and then click on HOTMAIL. I'm then redirected to http://login.passpor...ilogin.srf?id=2
However, the page is completely blank and it says "done" in the lower left-hand corner. I never get the .NET Passport Sign-in screen.

2. Task Manager, MSCONFIG, and REGEDIT no longer work

3. When I click on HELP, ABOUT for Internet Explorer, it brings up the "About Internet Explorer" screen but the Version, Cypher strengh, and Product ID are all blank.

Not sure if these are all related, but could use some suggestions on what could be wrong and how to fix. My most urgent issue is #1 above.

For the last 2 days I have been unable to log into Hotmail or msn explorer. I have not changed my user name or password. I get the message not able to sign you in, problem may be with microsoft or your internet connection. I also have a yahoo email acct. and I have no problems with it
