When i play the game there is no weapons on my screen. The crosshair is there and I can use them but there is no weapon. The funny thing is this only happens in the story mode. When I play the training room I can actually see the weapons. What gives? Do I have to change a video setting becasue mine is default at high?

Hello cstar_17,

The graphics settings shouldn't really have any effect on whether the weapons is displayed or not.

Where are you in the game?
Have you tried reinstalling the game?
What are your system specs?
Are all your drivers up to date?
Does this only happen in HL2 or does it happen to other games?

I don't know what caused the problem but I just started a new game and the weapons appeared. Must have been some type of glitch. Thanks for the help. Just deleted the old game where they were absent and no problems since.

Hmmmm...strange :whistling:

I've not heard of a weapons glitch but I'm glad you got it sorted anyway!
