Let me start off by saying hello to the wonderful g2g community, once again.

Lately, my computer has been randomly rebooting for no reason at all.
Virus scans are clean, no malware to my knowledge, etc.,

It mainly happens while playing games, but sometimes when I'm not. My comp specs are above what's required to run the game and my background processes/programs are minimal. I suspect it's due to the taxing nature of the games I play, however.

A friend of mine told me it was some sort of memory problem, but I wasn't quite sure of what he said.

Is there any way to fix this barring a computer upgrade?

I am almost sure that this is not a virus problem , as it happens to a newly reformatted older computer, but of course I'm no expert.

Any help is appreciated

Hi souper...

How much physical memory (RAM) do you have on the machine? How about the video card...how much memory does it have?
