Hi there,

I just got a ThinkPad T60 running Windows XP Pro. I have the notebook set to "do nothing" when I close the lid, but when I open it again, I find that some of my icons have moved - especially the ones on the right side of the screen have migrated all the way to left, and the ones in the lower left-hand corner have moved up. It seems to be the same effect as a resolution change, only I didn't ask it to do that. And the resolutions settings in the "settings" panel haven't changed at all. Is there any way I can prevent the icons from moving like that? Not a huge problem, just an annoyance :whistling:

Thanks,
-GK

Try removing the "auto arrange" checkmark. Right click on the display and view arrange icons by. Should be the first one you see.
