I recently installed SP2 and some new McAfee virus software on my PC at home. Now I can't access the internet anymore using Juno Speedband. When I launch Juno, the window comes up, it dials out, verifies my ID & PW, says "you are logged on" and then just shuts down. Period. I've tried disabling the firewall, running diagnostics on my PC and modem, running a defrag, etc. but nothing works. I'm waiting for a CD from Juno in the mail to try reinstalling the software, but if that doesn't work then I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?

Have you tried uninstalling the programs you added on- SP2 would only affect your computer if it was infected, but you would already be complaing about other stuff if it did. I would also try a system restore to the point before you installed this stuff and see if that works

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I tried that too. I tried to restore to 2 different points - 1)prior to installing the McAfee software, and 2)prior to installing SP2. Each time it came back saying "Your PC cannot be restored. No changes have been made." That baffles me because I HAVE made changes.
