Please help me find the drivers needed to have sound on my laptop it is really annoying ive been looking for hours with no luck and have looked everywhere

yes that was one of the first places i tried. It is possible i overlooked something but it doesnt seem like anything there would solve the problem. I tried two of the downloads with no luck.

That laptop uses a Crystal 4237B audi controller, which should be built into windows xp (unless maybe they dropped support for it?)... that chip is soundblaster pro compatible

are some....start with the winme and go backwards, I guess.

Why the heck are you running win2k3 on that relic? Pretty sure it only maxes out at 256mb of ram, doesn't it?
