my bud gave me a new driver
a mitsumi double speed with the label outside reading hp 4700 series

the problem is there is no driver to run this thing
i went to mitsumi and couldnt download something called a windowsnt aspi driver
because my browser is too protective of me or the update is no longer available

on the microsoft site they list no new updates
when i go thru installation wizard theres an exclamation point next to the driver
says i need an update
then i try to update it using the online option on my computer
it downloads something
and then still doenst load up right

at microsoft.com they scanned my machine and told me id didnt need any updates, which was very helpful

im at the end of my rope here
five hours lost forever
rage level increasing
i see a smashed mouse in the near future
thanks for any insights

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on right for the name it has for what you want to update

Look at the manufacturer’s site for the suitable drivers for your Operating System

If you are unable to find them, please post the make and model here before you download anything
