Yesterday morning while i was at school everything on my laptop worked perfectly. When i came home, however, i couldn't seem to get my Yahoo! messenger 7 to work without crashing. I could sign in and see everybody but as soon as i tried to open a new IM it crashed. I tried to read my email at gmail.com but it wouldn't open any of my emails for me. When i double clicked an email it would mark it as read but not show it to me. I tried to download a new version of Yahoo! Messenger (v7.5) and it told me that my internet explorer is not configured to recieve cookies. I went to the options and went so far as to completely allow all cookies but i still got the same message (I am using Internet Explorer 7 beta 2, which could be the problem but it never gave me that problem before). I can use Firefox to download stuff off the internet. I opened up my McAfee so i could run a scan and the program looks horrible, something is wrong with all the graphics in the program and its running in text-only. After the scan it told me it found 2 viruses: rzbzB2.exe & SGCzxOB0.exe, it called them both Malformed Archives. It was unable to clean, quaranteen or delete either of the files. I tried to search for these files on my computer using the search feature that comes with windows and all i see is the dog, nothing else loads. I ran a House Call scan, a Trojan Hunter, and a StopSign scan and none of them found anything. Worried that my computer might try to kick the bucket i gathered a bunch of files to burn to CD but when i try to run Roxio 7.5 it crahses before even loading anything. It gave me the following error message: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error! This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." I also tried to run an internet search for the exe files McAfee gave me but all i got was the McAfee website telling me to use the program to delete the files, which it wont. I dont know what other programs on here dont work either but im sure there's more. I did everything you guys wanted me to do before i ran Hijack This so I'll post the log at the end of this topic. I will give any additional information or screenshots you guys might want for any of my problems. I have a very long error log from Yahoo! Messenger crashing if you think that might help. Thank you for any help you guys can give me. I would love to avoid having to reformat.
