I am using AVG antivirus and Trojan Hunter&Trojan Hunter Guard.
I have only be using the Trojan Hunter program for about 6 months.
I have gotten afew Trojan Horse virus's and AVG always flagged me.
Trojan Hunter Guard doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I'm been told that if the AVG Resident Shield is up then Trojan Hunter Guard
can't check for virus's.
Also, I did a full scan using Trojan Hunter and found a VXCOM.100 virus in my internet explorer directory and my C:\System Volume Information\ directory.
AVG didn't flag me regarding this virus and Trojan Hunter Guard must not being working because it let the virus install on my computer.
How can I get both programs to run at the same time to provide protection????

Hi chimchim

Welcome to geekstogo ;)

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
