I have a Sony VAIO PCG-FRV28. I recently went into the device manager and noticed that by the processor an error was showing up so I decided to uninstall it and restart the PC. Once I restarted the PC the system locked up I cannot go anywhere it seems it keeps doing something and I cannot do anything. Please help because I have a lot of very important stuff on the PC. I believe the processor is Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.8 Ghz. Thank you.

Hi drlovemoose...

Can you boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key during bootup? If you can, see if you can run System Restore to a date just before you changed the processor settings.

Yes I still have the error next to the processor but the PC works fine. I am not sure why the error is showing up. It says that the driver may not be the latest one or something like that.
