Is there any products that will allow me to add a pci slot to my laptop through a universal docking station of some sort. The only one I found were Magma Cardbus to PCI Expansion, which cost about $1000 to add one pci slot. Are there any other options prefereablly less expensive.

Not that I'm aware of.
However, what is it you wanted to use the extra PCI slot for? Most devices can be bought in PCMCIA format or as USB devices, for example. This would seem an easier (and cheaper) solution.
