My Win XP Home reboots from standby. I have configured my power options to never turn off the monitor or hard drives and to go into standby after 10 minutes. When I turn it back on from standby using my mouse or keyboard, it reboots. Hibernation has been turned off. I understand that standby mode uses the RAM. Could this be a hardware problem? I have searched Microsoft.com for this issue, but it is not addressed. Any suggestions?
