well...there's not an apocolypse now book...but the entire movie is based on "the heart of darkness" follows the story pretty closely


It's heart of darkness, without the 'the' :blink: . (sorry, couldn't resist imitating my teacher). BTW, we are studying that right now in school and everyone is either bored to death or already dead. :whistling:

Sure, I guess I am not born for that dense type of book, I like the idea of exploring the theme of becoming 'savage', though the way it is done is way too elaborate (for me). Like "Lords of the flies" more.
