LG cd rom not in devices,
tried to reinstall with original software, message not compatible with xp.
have upgraded to xp but it was running now it isnt.
do get floppy disc fail at start up and have to press f1 to continue.
no havent played with internals of computer.
I have had problems with office outlook and did a repair which re-installed outlook and lost all of my email adresses in the process. i have office pro 2003 and so decided to re-insall everything but it will not re-install,,, yes i have original software...

.....hmmm...IF the photo's are saved on the computer you won't lose them...same with like word documents and what not....those types of things arent stored in the program..they're stored in a file...the emails got lost because of the way outlook works....are you wanting to preserve outlook info...like old emails and stuff like that?
