hello folks

i am having issues with my pc here is what is going on i cant update my norton antivirus so i installed avg antivirus and ran a scan no problems i tried to uninstall norton but i just stops when i try to unistall it
ok i tried to run ad-aware, spyboot searh and destroy and thay just freeze half way thru tried to unistall both and thay freeze up or stop responding this happens when i try to unisatll any program now i ran cleanup and that worked fine cant run ewido,or trojanhunter because i have them on my system and cant remove them i have a compaq presario with a amdathlon xp 2600+ i am running xp 2002 edition sp2 any helps or tips i thank you in advance

Shwehhw...dude, use some punctuation in there. It is hard to read

Putting Norton aside for a moment, often times a good way to get an uninstall to work is to first install the program again, then run add/remove in control panel

Too many disk cleaners are too agressive and remove the uninstall scripts, causing this issue

When you run into these issues, reinstalling first, makes sure that file is there
