I have been googling for about 2 hours now with no result except this one program that you have to pay for (i can't remember it's name) and really wish to find a way but i can't seem to find anything but other people having the same problem (yes i know it's not supported by zonelabs) I was wondering if there was a way to forcibly make zone alarm recognize nod32.

Click programme control / programmes to look through the list for NOD32 and also its access permissions

Have you installed version 6.5.700.000, if not, download it and choose clean install, not upgrade, click yes for the security question, install with default settings

You should be able to add NOD32 if it isn't in the list and set its access permissions

Click start, control panel, security centre, is NOD32 shown as the AV programme

Does NOD32 run and update

Click ZA alerts and logs, click custom for programme alerts, click reset to defaults

If you download the free trial and run set up, choosing clean install, not upgrade, the new version may recognise NOD32

http://www.zonelabs....en&lid=db_trial

It will retain the subscription details of your current ZA install

sorry to double post but i thought it would kind of be necessary, it still does not recognize nod32 the latest version.

edit: it does however allow me to turn on im security now and it wouldn't let me before

well i do know by reading other people's posts on other forums that it is all up to zone alarm, but i did find this one program that would force them to work together but it cost quite some money and i don't really have any (the program was called opswat) but maybe a program might do the same thing only free

The ZA forums are usually good because their replies are mainly from consumers

It may be that using a version which does not incorporate AV and anti spyware would not bother about another AV programme

Instant support / technical support should help, you can also get to their forums from here

http://www.zonelabs....&lid=nav_csmain

I would be reluctant to pay for a programme to correct this
