My computer seems to be slow now and used to run fast and smooth. I keep running AVG, TrojanHunter, Spybot SD, Ad-adware, and Trendmicro housecall. They keep finding problems and fixing them but they seem to come back everytime i start up my windows xp. Trendmicro housecall can find problems but they can't get rid of them.

Heres a HiJackThis log:

Edit by wannabe1: Attached HJT log.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi boogermonster...

Let's let the malware experts deal with this one.

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Do Not reply to or "bump" your own topic...if it shows a reply, it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

I followed all four steps and my computer still seems to still run slowly.
Also, i found that at startup, Spotbot SD keeps asking if it should allow or deny the processe lockx.exe to be deleted.

here is a HJT log:

Edit: HJT log attached.

attached is an ewido scan.

Sorry if the post is too long, i can't seem to attach the HJT log.
Thank you

You got some of it, but you need to start a topic HERE and let the malware experts help you clean out some more stuff. Be patient...these folks are really busy.

Once you've got a clean bill or health from the expert there, if you are still having the problem, return to this thread and we'll get you fixed up. :whistling:
