if you know for a fact that you don't have any of those devices connected....ignore them for now...

does the shuffle work in any of the other usb ports?

i tried the bottom front usb drive, i saw apple ipod shuffle(G) and then i clicked it and G:/ is not accessible. The media in the drive may have changed. Then i tried one of the usb drives on the back, it says G:/ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. all 4 usb ports in the back says that error.

sure...or if you go to a friend's house...if they've got a computer....try the shuffle on another computer....if it doesn't work on another computer..i'd say the thing isn't as "refurbished" as once believed
