after a weird power surge I discovered my pc was stuck in post with the message boot disk failure insert system disk. pretty scary. Having more than one hdd I decided to disconnect hard drive used only for storage. to my surprize when I booted with only one hdd every thing worked just fine. seems like the power surge caused the boot sequence to revert to default causing my ultra ata to boot first and my sata to be secondary. the problem with that is that the sata hdd is the one with the OS. going into the BIOS and reseting the order so the sata was first fixed the problem. how about that :whistling:
