Yes, and follow along with the onscreen wizard and extract to your DESKTOP.

so i right click and click extract all then it makes another folder which does nothing just a bunch of programs

i wasn't able to download the file before fenor removed the link...so i'm not sure what was in it...in the folder that was extracted...are there any exe files that say something like "setup" or something like that?

never mind...found the link in my history...

go back to device manager and right click on the sound device...choose the update driver option...do the "install from a list or specified location"...choose the "search for best driver...." option and make sure the "include this location box is checked" ...press teh browse button and point it to the folder on your desktop where the files were extracted

it says files cannot be installed because the wizard could not find the neccassary software

if that doesn't work try This one

i think the one fenor found was a 98/95 driver

It's specifically said for all versions of Windows from 95 through XP. Also, it wouldn't have a .inf file in it if it was a driver for Window 98, it would be vxd.
