I keep getting this screen (see attachment) after either 2 or 20 minutes (I timed it). I believe it has something to do with my sound card or driver and am attempting to update the BIOS (by copying the iso image onto a cd and booting from it) but am having no luck. Will dump my HijackThis log later (as now I'm on my boss' comp). I am eagerly waiting your reply.

I'll cut off at random intervals, usually when I trying to install an update for my drivers, which I assume is the problem. I have a Toshiba laptop and the BIOS update is from a diskette form only... prob is my CD drive doesn't recognize my cds.... never did. so I can't update my BIOS, whatever that means... I'm so lost. any help would be greatly appreciated.
