Now ill be doing just about anything and my computer will turn off. The Power stays constant as i see my fans and hd are still going but it takes like 3 mins for it to start back up again. The only thing i can think off that might have triggered this is 1. Deframintation 2. Pluggin in a new Microphone(maybe the usb slot was all messed up???) 3. Downloading an alpha program.

One thing I can single out is probably a power supply problem since i have a 450.

turns off or reboots?

(ps--A faulty 450 watt power supply will display this condiition just the same as a faulty 250 watt power supply)

Well like i dont know how to classify it

All of a sudden my screen will go blank and then like 3 mins later it reboots. Though the whole time the power is still on. Would it be overheating of a videocard?

sounds like a reboot.

Got another power supply in a second PC you can swap out (as a test--don't run out and buy one yet)?

That is where I would start with this one
