I have a VB macro will link a Bitmap Object from a predetermined location to the document.
Say from C:\ProgramFiles\ABC\XYZ.BMP
Now i am able to link in my PC
ActiveDocument.Shapes.AddOLEObject(ClassType:="Paint.Picture", _
filename:=str_AppPath & "\XYZ.bmp", LinkToFile:=True, _
DisplayAsIcon:=False, Left:=x, Top:=y)
But for a another user the linking is not working. Instead of "Objclass Paint.Picture" it defaults to "objclass Package". I am unable to locate the compatibilty option or any other option to resolve this issue.
I am attching two attachments - screen shots as to how the bitmap looks.= in my pC and another PC
Can anyone please help me.
