Hello,

My computer is having a pop up issue. I tried adaware, spybot destroyer, norton, and nothing seems to work. I ran a hijackthis and here is the log....any help will be greatly appreciated :tazz:

You appear to have the newest variant of vx2. There is currently no cure for it but we're working on it.. :tazz:

Please find this file and tell me what size it is:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\fpno0353e.dll

Let me know if you need specific instructions on how to get that info. ;)

Also, do you know what this is:
O4 - Global Startup: map.bat

It should be located in your Start > All Programs > Startup folder. If you don't know what this is, please right click it and choose Edit. Copy the contents back into this thread.

Yes...I know what the map.bat is...I wrote that file and put it there.

Anyways...it's actually my boss's computer and he got fed up and called for a clean window reinstall ;) I guess that solve all spyware problem :tazz:

If your talking about wiping the compute rout nad starting over, yes, that will certainly take care of the problem. :tazz: A reinstall of Windows without formatting will not take care of it though. If his computer is still sick, we shoould have a fix for this infection sometime this week.
