If I buy a good graphics card thats better then my G-Force FX 5500 PCI 256 MB , Will the Games be running much smoother without lagging?

A good graphics card can improve your games' frame rates, but that isn't the only thing that makes games run fast. The CPU and available RAM will also affect how fast your games run.

What are you trying to run and what are your system specs?
