Hi i recently tried to download and update my video card driver and when i try to install the update an error message pops up and says "Severe" "INF Error" "Video driver not found" what would be causing this problem?? And when i exit the install a popup advises me to setup my standard vga and retry the install....how do i do this???? Please HELP!!

I clicked on display devices and there are a few of them, so the exact model is needed

im sorry i cant seem to find exactly what you are looking for i dont see anything that matches those numbers on the list from dell the only i could find that was similar was "GRAPHICS, ATI TECHNOLOGIES INC, M11, 128MB, 9100"

The Dell service tag is supposed to tell you the model of Inspiron you have, without it you cannot find the correct drivers

See if Dell can show you how to get the model number

ok i contacted Dell and this is what i got...."The Display Device is not required for Laptops. It is for external Monitors only" what should i do now? They told me that the model was XPS nothing more

Ask ATI what they suggest, usually they refer you to the manufacturer, but should know which drivers to use
