Open Control Panel...is there a "java" icon? If there is, double click on it. In the window that opens, click on the "Update" tab. From the "Notify Me" drop down menu, select "Before downloading and before installing". Tick the checkbox next to "Check for updates automatically" and click on the "Update Now" button. "Apply" any changes and "Ok" out.

Next, double click on the "Internet Options" icon in Control Panel. Under the "Security" tab, set the slider to "Medium" level. Then click the "Internet" icon in the box at the top and click the "Custom Level" button. Match your settings to those shown in This Guide. Do this for each of the zones shown in the guide. "Apply" any changes you make.

Any Change?

Java is a scripting language which allows small applications to be embedded in web pages to allow interaction between the page/site and the user.
