Is there some way to have a process ( eg: MSN Messenger) start up only when one of the users logs onto their account, not when any of them log on?
We have 4 user accounts, 2 use Messenger, the other 2 don't. It's extremely annoying for those who don't to be prompted by messenger. I've done some searching and haven't been able to find a method of doing this.

using WIN XP Home

It's actually pretty simple. In MSN Messenger, go to Tools, then Options, and click on the General tab. At the top of the list, uncheck "Automatically Run Messenger when Windows starts."

Now, create a shortcut to MSN Messenger in the Startup folder in the Start > All Programs list for each of the users that want MSN Messenger.

Indeed it is, as simple as that. Many thanks for the pointer.
