Is there anyway to create some kind of virtual network(LAN) on one computer?

sounds ridiculous i know lol, but i have a program that needs LAN to function as multiplayer, and i dont have wireless or anything else, im just wondering if its possible.

Which game are you talking about?

If the only multiplayer option is LAN, then the game doesn't have online servers therefore isn't playable over the internet, only locally.

The only other thing I can recommend is to maybe use Hamachi, which allows you to create a WAN pretty easily.

or you could use vmware (which is now free)....but as vaillant said...and as i would infer....how could you play a game as multiplayer....one a single machine?....that doesn't make sense..
