my computer (compaq cm2130 notebook) screwed up and i had to replace windows
now no sound comes out of the speakers or headphones if you attatch them
my local tech weannie (who trained under the Chaos Magus himself) tried to figure it out but couldn't.
the computer has the windows driver and some others(7 in all) that aperently mix and kill each other.

HELP PLEASE I am mostly incompetant about computers if it doesn't in volve installing and playing a game and I want the cool sound effects back.

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on the right for multimedia / audio adapter

Look at the manufacturer’s site for the suitable drivers for your Operating System
