Installing windows but I can't boot the cd

you can do it several ways, but the easiest way given where you are at the moment, I think, would be to drop the new drive as is into a second computer, copy the i386 folder from the xp cd's to the new drive

Drop the drive back into the other machine and boot with your floppy.

change directory to i386 (cd i386)

run the windows setup

c:\i386>winnt.exe
<enter>

:whistling: Hallelujah! Woo-Hoo! YIIPPPEEEEE! Praise Jesus, Allah, Buddah all the computer gods, and (of course) you! Wannnabe1, gerryf, I love you guys like a fat kid loves chocolate cake... In case you haven't caught on, my computer is now in full working order. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. Maybe someday I can help people on this website too becuase geekstogo is a lifesaver. Thanks all!
