I downloaded a tool for one of my Sims games and when I try to install it, it says "An installation support file could not be found. The server threw an exception." What does that mean and how do I fix it?

Also when I try to access pages on myspace it says something about an active x control not being active and then I click OK and it says wants me to send an error report for an unexpected error. Then IE closes. What's up with that?

it is always useful to tell us what you are installing and where you got it from

your second issue likely means the activex control is corrupt or the code on the page is not written well. Does it only occur on myspace?

The tool I am installing is from the Maxis website. It's the Make a Celeb tool.

Also when I try to delete EasyGPRS (I don't remember where I downloaded it) it says the same thing under my add/remove programs.
