linksys wireless modem problem...

ok just quick question about my modem, its a linksys WAG354G modem, have had it for about 6 months with no problems at all...

however the other day i was on the net and then this loud pop came out of my speakers like a fuse had just blown and then my computer restarted on its own... weird in itself, but then when everything booted up my internet was dead :-s any ideas what might have happened ? am now using an old bt voyager modem but is not wireless, so any help much appreciated...
