My IE browser was hijacked. Below is my hijack this log can someone please help me get rid of this? I have used Ad-Aware and Spybot, I also found this acticle on your site should I try this? http://www.geekstogo...776

First we'll need you to download the latest version of HiJack This.Click Here to download the latest version (1.99.1). Please save it in a permanent folder (such as C:\HJT). This is to ensure that backups are saved and accessible in the event you should need it.

Make sure you are disconnected from the Internet and all windows and programs are closed. Run HiJack This and post your new log here.

As far as trying what's on the other thread, it definitely wouldn't hurt to follow his instructions as far as running About:Buster, CleanUp!, CWShredder, and Ad-Aware, but do NOT fix anything with HiJack This. Just make sure to post a new log after running the programs so it can be analyzed to see if anything needs to be "taken care of"! :tazz: Those are the programs I used to clean my computer when it was hijacked (had the same about:blank infection as you) and they worked GREAT!

I did as you told me. Downloaded the latest version of Hijackthis replaced the old version in my C:\Hijackthis\ DIR diconnected from the internet and closed all windows. Here is my Log:
I am going to try the other removal tools until I hear back. Thanks!
