Hello again! My internet is running very slow. It's usually slow but these past few days its slower than ever.I update & run ad-aware,spybot,easy cleaner & regigaurd every other day.It has been windy here lately.Could that have anything to do with my wireless signal?I heard hardwood floors & other things have an effect on signal stregnth. Is this true? What other things can have an effect on my wireless connection?Or better yet how do I improve my connection? Please & thank you!

Try not to post duplicate topics next time...

Did you troubleshoot it to make sure it's not the hardwood floor causing the problem? How? Just go into the same room as the wireless router and see if it has any issues.

Yes, there can be other factors that may interfere...like cell phones and other devices that operate in the same frequency. But you should be able to change the channel on the router to one that causes least interrupts...I think it's 11.
