Hi

i got a big problem occured with my nero for quite a long time now :)

it used to work and write Films well before this started (i cant remember when cause it was long ago).

but now it only seems to write mpeg format.... and im talking about wrting DVD.
when i drag mpeg format movie into the Adding menu it loads it ok and everything's fine but when i usually drag avi file into there ir just freezes and crashes :woot:

it doesnt happen to ALL avi files though. because i have tried many and some seem to load fine and be written on dvd.

i thought it might be the matter of codecs or something but i might as well be wrong.
if it is a matter of codecs could you suggest some please? :whistling:  :help:

Does it happen if you try to burn a disc which has AVI and MPEG files on it

Have you tried the export option for an AVI file then burning that to disc

Have you tried writing to a folder on the drive

During transcoding there are 4 sets of figures, if any of those freeze then the file is corrupt

Download and install this, load an AVI file and see if it can repair it, you use the largest file if it repairs
