hi, i recently used smitrem to get rid of this stdole3.tlb FREAKIN BUG! and I had deleted the file that stated that sypbot said it was linked to. Well i got rid of that program that would pop up on my lower right hand corner of the screen. i did a new spybot scan and everything ok. now the only problem is that my laptop doesn't boot up as fast as it used to. i have the original cds and stuff like the software. do i need to reprogram the comp, i mean its not even 2 weeks old and already i'm TICKED. how people have nothing better to do but make life miserable for others. what should i do. can you email me prefereably or if there is a 800 # to contact to make this easier. i'm a designer and i'm technically/computer/software challenged.
also, i got that remedy from this site.....thank you sooooo much from the bottom of my heart on helping me clear this stupid bug.

Thank You!

Check the PC is completely clean first

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum
