I have a couple of folders in my D drive and i can't seem to delete them. The error message that i'm getting is:

Cannot delet sp2: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

What can I do to fix this?

You will need to take ownership of those folders first before you do that. Microsoft has instructions here, and make sure to disable Simple File Sharing first (directions also in link).
