Last night McAfee told me about this file and said it has been found but could not be quarantined, so i tried to clean it (but no) and then i tried to delete it (still there). So I went into the \WINDOWS\System 32\WINBUG32.DLL and tried to manually delete it from here but i get the error message:
'Cannot delete winbug32 Access is denied'

I have tried to delete in in safe mode but get the exact same error. Please can somebody help me.

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum

The advice below will not be applicable to your system
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only one that looks suss is this entry.

Boot into safe mode.

Run HJT tick this entry and tick fix checked. And delete winbug32.dll. (You may have to show all files).

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winbug32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winbug32.dll
