X-men official game problem

Hi all, back with another problem I'm playing X-Men : The Official Game. Anyway while actually in the game doing the fighiting and stuff, the sound is good, working perfectly. The music on the main menu is good, as is sound. However when there's cutscenes and movies in the game the sound is all scratchy and distorted.

What are some possible reasons and fixes for this?

try updating your audio drivers. Beyond that, there's probably not much you can do about it. The game is already notorious for being VERY buggy and pushed out before it could be finished.
