I'm on TS; everything is working perfectly, then all of a sudden, its NOT working, as far as I can tell from the response of my friends is that its just major static when I'm "speaking" (cant hear a thing). I have no idea what the problem is. If i reset my pc it works again, but I don't want to do that everytime.

Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit ADVANCED HD. (internal)
Mic: Cheapish Headset - although seems to still record stuff & can hear myself fine!
AND I can HEAR everything normally.

Its sorted now, thanks for the assistance anyway.

The problem was the Microphone, it was damaged, and overheating the sound card, just to get some sound across, and so I bought a new Mic, turned the volume settings to normal, and I'm getting normal volumes, and good quality.

Thanks anyways.
