For installing the videocard drivers, what partition is better to install to? The same partition as the partition that win xp is on and which is booted from?

Which one needs it? Well your XP partition does if you want them to actually work...

What other partitions do you have? -_-

The one the game is installed on, but a game needs to be installed on an operating system, so thats your Windows XP partition, unless you got Linux or another OS on a different partition...

I think I get what he means. You can add drives and partitions and install any new programs to that partition/drive to save space on the partition that has the OS.

However, to get any devices to work, the drivers have to be installed with the OS. It's the OS that controls your devices via drivers, not the games themselves.

Lol so many posts for such a simple question, yes they go on the winxp as they are system files required by the OS. Be vareful with a second partition for games some dont like not being installed in the same partition as the OS.
