I have had this problem for a couple months now, and havent been able to find a valid solution for it, just looking to see if I could get some help. Computer locks up forcing a reboot when I download/upload 90% of the time and alot when logging into XP. I have done all the virus/spyware checking and everything seems clean. Also, checked motherboard temps w/ Everest and it looks normal. PLEASE HELP! Thanks Brian

Hi bschmitt77...

Check to see that all your device drivers, especially the network adapter, are all the newest versions available. If you are on a "branded" machine, try the manufacturer's website. Otherwise try the websites of the individual device manufacturer.
