Ok my dads last problem. Under programs it does not show moviepass any longer. Under add or remove programs it shows moviepass. When I go to remove it the only thing it will do is to take me to website. Moviepass.TV. This sight says Moviepass was activated 4/12 and that the free trial has ended. It than give three options to pay and says any one of them will fill the contractual obligation. My dad is 60 plus, has no idea what moviepass is. I am pretty sure it is not a virus because I have run numerous mal ware virus remeover etc etc and it does not show. I am not a rookie at that. But than I am no expert. If you think its a virus please let me know so I can post it in the other forum. The date given of activation 4/12 is shortly after the computer was purchased so it is possible it was some free offer inadvertantly activated or something that just started when the computer was turned on.. He never used it and certainly is not giving them a credit card number to pay some bill.. How do I get rid of it? Thanks for your time.

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum
