Wireless router D-Link

Well i got a dlink wireless G royter and my signal isnt very good what should i do to improve it. Also i seem to be dropping my connection alot and yes i did make sure the power saving was off and i renewed and released my ip aswell can anyone please help me thanks.

i got the WDR-1310 Router With the WDA-1320 Wireless Card

k well i got so pissed off at the wireless that i got wired and my router seems to be dropping my connection because when i look at my modem it doesnt show the orange light that means pc activity which means my router isnt sensing my modem at that time cna anyone help?
