This is what I did to resolve my P17Helper error's on My Win XP Pro with Creatives Sound Blasters Audigy LS Sound Card. It's so simple I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

1. Copy P17.dll From C:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy LS\Program\wdm\win2k_xp\

To C:\WINDOWS\system32 Overwriting the existing P17.dll File.

2. Copy P17.sys From C:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy LS\Program\wdm\win2k_xp\i386\ To

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\ Overwriting the existing P17.sys File.

3. Problem solved!

There's also a folder for the AMD64 if that's what your using right next to the i386 folder.
Hopefully this will cover everyone. :whistling:
