This is what I did to resolve my P17Helper error's on My Win XP Pro with Creatives Sound Blasters Audigy LS Sound Card. It's so simple I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

1. Copy “P17.dll” From “C:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy LS\Program\wdm\win2k_xp\”

To “C:\WINDOWS\system32” Overwriting the existing “P17.dll” File.

2. Copy “P17.sys” From “C:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy LS\Program\wdm\win2k_xp\i386\” To

“C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\” Overwriting the existing “P17.sys” File.

3. Problem solved!

There's also a folder for the AMD64 if that's what your using right next to the i386 folder.
Hopefully this will cover everyone. :whistling:
