I was saving things onto disks and it was all working fine. Then i tried to change the disk, and when i put it in the name of the disk didn't appear on the D drive, and when i click on it it says 'please insert disk'. This only happens on some disks, as i have gotton others to work fine.
Can you help!!?!

If you know the make and model of the CD drive, check for a firmware update, though make sure it is the exact one for the drive

Can you check this is your drive

http://esupport.sony...id=1911&os_id=7

Of the two drives you have, RW indicates a ReWrite capability

just realised that the disk that works is a DVD+RW which is what it says the drive is called, and the discs that dont work are music cds and CD-RW. but they all worked earlier today. now when i put in the disks that dont work it just makes 3 little sounds as if its tryin to read them bt cant.
